Dr. Kraenzle is the Geographic Information Team Leader at the Mine Action Information Center at JMU and the Co-Director of the JMU Applied Spatial Research Center. He received his Ph.D. degree in natural science at the University of Munich. Before joining JMU in 1996, Dr. Kraenzle was a supervisor of the Section "Geographical Services" at E-Plus Mobile Communications in Duesseldorf, Germany. His research interests are in Geographic Information Systems and Spatial Databases.
