The Mine Action Information Center at James Madison University hosts the ORDATA II website and has a limited number of copies of the software on CD as well. ORDATA is an ordnance identification system. The user enters available information and program provides results from the ordnance database based on those parameters. The most updated version is the ORDATA Mines site at http://ordatamines.maic.jmu.edu. The version currently available on CD is the previous edition, which is ORDATA II, located online at http://maic.jmu.edu/ordata.
The CD version is intended for those who are unable to access the online version of the database reliably. There are only a limited number of these discs available, so we ask that you please fill out the form below and we will provide CDs at no charge to those whose need is greatest. For the field "ORDATA Usage", please fill in how you are using the ORDATA software and explain why the online version is insufficient to meet your needs. We will notify you at the e-mail address you provide if we are unable to send the disc for some reason.
