We would like to draw your attention to an updated version of ORDATA covering the most commonly used mines in greater detail.
A new version of the mine section has been commissioned by the NVESD Humanitarian Demining Program to re-organize, correct and supplement the mine information in the original ORDATA database. The new version is a `living' system that can be updated continuously and has far more powerful search functions. This database can also be downloaded onto a PDA, retaining full functionality, and can be updated, as and when required.

RENDER SAFE PROCEDURES (RSPS)
ORDATA Online does not provide ordnance Render Safe Procedures (RSPs). RSPs contain highly technical information that is restricted to EOD technicians who possess the clearances, tools, training and experience required to safely perform these complex procedures. In most cases, the safest procedure to follow if the ordnance item's filler is known is to destroy the item in place. (Note: See Explosive/Filler Information for more on this subject.)
