We would like to draw your attention to an updated version of ORDATA covering the most commonly used mines in greater detail.
A new version of the mine section has been commissioned by the NVESD Humanitarian Demining Program to re-organize, correct and supplement the mine information in the original ORDATA database. The new version is a `living' system that can be updated continuously and has far more powerful search functions. This database can also be downloaded onto a PDA, retaining full functionality, and can be updated, as and when required.

HELP TOPICS
HAZARDS
The guidance provided in ORDATA Online assumes that clearance/demining operations are only being conducted on UXO that has been in the field for an extended period of time, such that functional battery life and safe wait times have long been exceeded. If the UXO items encountered have been recently emplaced, fired or dropped, seek technical assistance from military specialists.
