| A laptop based computer system would allow users to track mine clearance. Current US military operations use maps with markers--do not allow for fine detail |

1. Use laptops with mine database software--ORDATA II and mapping software
2. Ensure software is compatible with coalition partners.
3. Create a centralized military mine database center.
This format will provide a historical document for mine clearance and to plan for future operations.
