Monday, September 30th. Tillicum Village is the Northwest Coast Indian

"Styled to honor various Northwest Coast tribes,
Tillicum's massive longhouse, with its hand-carved doors and painted
panels, claims your attention as we sailed into the marina. In the shadow
of eloquent totems, native "villagers" await you on a clam shell-strewn
path, ladling steamed clams into disposable cups as we disembarked.
In the longhouse, three sets of buffet tables are laden with king salmon
baked to moist perfection in traditional Northwest Coast Native American
fashion.
You dine in a vast tiered room, dimly lit and outfitted in dinner-theater
fashion with a stunning professional stage set in front and tables (set
with pitchers of iced tea, lemonade and strong coffee) throughout.
Nature sounds - the raven's call, the wind, the rain - accompanied the
clink of silver and glassware. Through a colorful series of dances, the
performers entertain and educate, telling the stories of their Northwest
Coast Indian ancestors' customs and beliefs. "
